- Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Entry is only open to Australian residents (excluding NT) aged 18 years or over.
- Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Participating Stores (defined below) and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
- Entries into the promotion open on 1 August 2023 and close at 11:59PM AEST on 30 September 2023 (“Promotional Period”).
- To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase any participating Laphroaig product, being 700ml Laphroaig Select Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky or 700ml Laphroaig 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (each a “Participating Product”), from any off-premise licensed store in Australia that stocks the Participating Products and displays promotional materials advertising this promotion (“Participating Store”) during the Promotional Period (“Qualifying Purchase”).
- To enter, individuals must then complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:
- scan the QR code on the promotional material or visit
- https://lap.premiumspiritsprogram.com/;
- follow the prompts to the promotion entry page;
- input the requested details including first name, last name, email address and telephone number;
- upload a copy of their Qualifying Purchase receipt; and then
- submit the fully completed entry.
- Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per transaction regardless of the number of Participating Products purchased in that transaction in excess of one (1); and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements. Only one (1) prize is permitted per person (excluding SA residents).
- Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
- If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
- The draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, G13, 3 Amy Close, North Wyong NSW 2259 on 5 October 2023 at 12:00PM (noon) AEDST. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business days of the draw and their name will be published on https://lap.premiumspiritsprogram.com/ on 10 October 2023.
- The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The first three (3) valid entries drawn will each win a trip for two (2) adults to Tasmania valued at up to $10,500 depending on date and point of departure. Prize is for two (2) adults and includes:
- Two (2) x return economy airfares* from winner's nearest capital city to Hobart, TAS (only provided if winner resides outside of TAS). ;
- Three (3) nights accommodation at Pumphouse Point^ in Lake St Claire TAS (twin/double share) including breakfast daily;
- One (1) night 4.5star accommodation in Hobart (twin/double share) including breakfast;
- The winner’s choice of either five (5) days car hire in Hobart or $750 travel allowance* (only provided if winner resides outside of TAS);
- Two (2) bespoke Laphroaig dinners at Pumphouse Point with Laphroaig cocktails;
- Kayak or e-bike hire via Pumphouse Point; and
- Comprehensive travel insurance for two (2) (subject to all travellers having no pre-existing medical conditions and being under 59years of age).

If the winner does not wish to travel during these guaranteed dates, they acknowledge that (a) they must give 60 days notice of intended travel; and (b) that the booking is subject to availability.

- *Should the winner reside within 200kms of Lake St Clair TAS, flights and car hire/travel allowance will be forfeited, and the value of these inclusions will be offered in make-good form (i.e additional accommodation nights, private transfers to experiences, upgrades to hotel rooms, additional activities or spending money)
- To claim the prize, the winner must respond to the winner notification and confirm that they meet the entry criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions by 11:59pm AEDST on 14 December 2023. Once the prize has been claimed, the winner and their companion will be required to complete a further prize booking form including liability and publicity waiver within one (1) month of the date that they successfully claimed the prize and were verified as the valid winner. Winner and guest/s must finalise the prize booking within two (2) months of the date that they successfully claimed the prize and were verified as the valid winner and all travel must be completed within 12 months of the prize draw. Subject to the above, travel must be booked at least 60 days prior to intended travel departure. Prize is a single event holiday and cannot be separated into different holiday vacations. Availability cannot be guaranteed during Christmas, School holiday and special event periods. Winners and their travel companion must meet all travel requirements and conditions of entry for all third-party suppliers (i.e Hotels, Airlines, Restaurants, Events, Activity suppliers etc). Winners must meet all the rental conditions for car hire as prescribed by the car rental company, for example (including but not limited to) minimum driver age must be 21 years or older and maximum driver age is 85 years of age and the nominated driver must have held a full licence for at least 1 year, etc. If the winner doesn’t meet the criteria (eg. suspended licence) they must nominate a guest who meets the car rental company’s requirements and the guest must be the nominated driver on the rental agreement. All passengers must travel together on the same flights and stay at the same property. No compensation or alternative travel plans will be arranged should a winner and/ or their guest miss their outbound or return flights or fail to meet any check in requirements for any reason. These costs will be the responsibility and expense of the winner and travel partner. A credit card imprint may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel for all incidental charges. Once booking is confirmed no changes are allowed, unless otherwise authorised by the Promoter in its absolute discretion and if permitted will incur a fee of $165 per person (including GST) plus supplier charges which is payable by the winner. Where the prize is cancelled due to unforeseen travel restrictions relating to COVID-19 (as determined by the applicable Local or Federal Government), the Prizing Agency will use its best endeavours to reschedule to an alternative date (one revision only). The winner acknowledges that, in this instance, some elements of the trip may be non-refundable and therefore that element of the prize will be forfeited when re-booking. Any further date changes permitted (as a result of Government determined COVID restrictions) will be determined by the Promoter’s in its absolute discretion. Travel suppliers/airlines to be chosen at the discretion of Mavel Group (the Prizing Agency). Travel itinerary will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
- Travel insurance is compulsory and included in the prize subject to all travellers having no pre-existing medical conditions and being under 59 years of age.
- In the event that an element of the prize is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the winner forfeits the specified element and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the prize. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner and their companion including but not limited to additional meals, spending money, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), transport to and from departure point, transfers, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls and all other ancillary costs.
- Winners and their guest agree that they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation apart from the Promoter or Mavel Group.
- Winners and their companion will each be required to fully complete a travel insurance application form provided by the Promoter and may also be required to undergo medical tests as required by the Promoter’s nominated travel insurer, in order to redeem the travel insurance element of the prize. Any person found guilty of insurance fraud or failure to honestly and accurately disclose all relevant insurance information at the time of applying for a travel insurance policy or when making a claim forfeits any rights or entitlements to the travel insurance element of the prize. Travel insurance will be provided by the Promoter’s nominated travel insurer, and subject to approval by the travel insurer. In the event that the Promoter’s nominated travel insurer refuses to issue insurance to the winner and/or companion, the winner forfeits that travel insurance element of the prize. Travel insurance is subject to the terms and conditions issued by the Promoter’s nominated travel insurer, including but not limited to any limitations on the covered amount.
- In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic or any other kind of disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute, or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
- The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at www.nhmrc.gov.au. Entry and continued participation in this promotion is subject to the licensee’s liquor serving policy.
- Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take/redeem the prize (or an element of the prize) at/by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
- If a prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- Total prize pool value is up to $31,500. Prize, or any unused portion of a prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
- A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 15 December 2023 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners (if any), will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business days of the draw and their names will be published on https://lap.premiumspiritsprogram.com/ from 20 December 2023.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
- As a condition of accepting the prize, winners (and their companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
- The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.beamsuntory.com/privacy-policy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose PI to any entity outside of Australia.
